Off-highway vehicle recreation is a healthy way for family and friends to have fun, explore trails and discover wonderful things along the way!
Always wear a helmet, goggles, long-sleeved shirt, gloves, long pants, and over-the-ankle boots. At the end of the day you’ll be glad you did!
Protect your family by traveling at a safe speed. Use care when turning and crossing slopes!
SIZE IS IMPORTANT. Little rider, BIG machine, HUGE problem!
ONE ATV = ONE RIDER. Riding double is asking for trouble!
SHARE THE TRAIL WITH OTHERS. Good trail manners keep riding areas open!
LET OTHERS PASS SAFELY. When you come across another visitor on the trail, pull over, stop and allowthem to pass safely!
BE KIND TO ANIMALSChasing animals is wrong!
ALWAYS STAY ON THE TRAIL. Riding off-trail damages the land and is dangerous!
GEAR UP, SIZE UP, BUCKLE UP. Be smart when you drive or ride. Always wear yoursafety gear and your seatbelt!
SHHHH! KEEP YOUR OHV QUIET. Neither people nor animals like noisy mufflers!
STAY ON TRAILS DESIGNATED FOR OHV USE. Do NOT damage the property of others!
NEVER RIDE ON RAILWAY TRACKS. It is extremely dangerous!
RESPECT RAILWAY CROSSINGS. Always check both directions before crossing railroad tracks!
ANYONE CAN ACCESS THE GREAT OUTDOORS. OHVs of different types can allow nearly anyone to access the great outdoors!
